Privacy Policy

Funhouse Stickers ("the app") is a free sticker, wallpaper and mini-game app. We built it so that your photos, voice and creations stay on your device. We do not run accounts, ads, analytics or tracking.

What we collect

We do not collect, store or sell any personal information. We have no servers that receive your data.

Camera, photos and microphone

• Camera: used only when you choose to take a selfie, use the Fun-House Mirror or the Photo Booth. Images are processed on your device to remove backgrounds and place costumes. They are not uploaded.
• Photo library: the app only sees photos you pick, and only saves to your library when you tap Save.
• Microphone and speech recognition: used only while you talk with the Fortune Teller. Speech is turned into text on your device when your device supports it; otherwise Apple's speech recognition service may process it under Apple's privacy policy. Recordings are not stored by the app.

AI features

The Fortune Teller chat and Image Playground use Apple Intelligence, which runs on your device (or Apple's Private Cloud Compute, under Apple's privacy terms). The app does not send your chats or images to any other company.

Image search

When you search for images to turn into stickers, your search words are sent to Openverse (run by WordPress.org) to find openly licensed images, and the chosen image is downloaded from its source. Please don't type personal information into search. Openverse's own privacy policy applies to those requests.

Games and iMessage

When you send a game challenge in Messages, the message contains the game, a random round number and the scores, plus the anonymous identifier Messages gives each person in the chat. It travels through Apple's Messages service like any message you send. We never see it.

Notifications

Launch reminders and daily fortunes are scheduled locally on your device, only if you turn them on. You can turn them off in the app or in Settings at any time.

Links

The waitlist and App Store buttons open web pages or the App Store. Those sites have their own privacy policies.

Children

The app has a creepy vintage circus theme intended for adults and is not directed at children.
